Cars require a true pocket style bass player. I know Ben was gone but that would have made the show way better. I don’t think rolling as a 4 piece was wise. Could have hired a guy that sings a good back up.

I absolutely love all the Cars! But without Ben's outstanding voice and incredible bass guitar it all sounds flat. I admire those guys for carrying on though. Glad they had a good reception. Super audience reaction!!

Danny's cover of Fire - Jimi Hendrix way better, I'm assuming with little rehearsal...was expcting way better, he was probably nervous here...still not a bad performance, he actually nailed all the hardest parts, so it evens it out..but I can understand how scary it must've been being put in that spotlight. Playing for Rush is no joke man, just the feel and the atmosphere alone... probably had nightmares about Neil Peart as da boogeyman the night before lol
